Take a look at our Cocker Spaniel Puppy's Daily Schedule

This is a typical Monday thru Thursday for Scooter the Cocker Spaniel Puppy. Monica is home all day Friday and we both are home on the weekends.

7:00am Scooter wakes up and we run him out to potty #1
7:05am Scooter eats and immediatly runs outside for potty #2
7:05-8:30am We usually get dressed and play inside fetch with his squeaky toys
8:30am Last chance potty break before crate
8:30-12:00am Snooze time

12:00pm John comes home for lunch with Scooter -- potty immediatly #1

1:00pm Scooter and John take a 10 min walk

1:30pm Last chance potty break before crate

1:30-5:00pm Snooze time

5:00pm Monica comes home from work takes Scoot outside - potty #1

6:00pm Dinner time for Scooter

6:05pm After dinner potty break #2

6:05pm-8:00pm John and Monica eat - Scooter has playtime

8:00pm Long walk with Scooter ~30-45 minutes

10:00pm Bedtime for Scooter - crate

Since we both work, Monica and I try our best to limit our Cocker Spaniel's daytime crate time to 3 1/2 hours max. From experience, it seems that Scooter sleeps the entire time we are gone. When it gets close to 8:30pm Scooter starts to yawn a lot and has that "I want to go to bed" look. Same thing for 1:30pm. The key here is to tire him out completely when you are with him. We are very active people and the amount of playtime we give Scoot completely poops him out!!!!!
