Routine teeth brushing is very important to your cocker spaniel's health. Here are some photos of teethbrushing around our house. It is quite interesting: Scooter hates getting his teeth brushed and Boomer just loves it.
We use human toothbrushes and doggie tooth paste that we purchased from Target. We brush their teeth and gums just like we brush our own.
When the toothbrush comes out, Scooter runs and hides. We caught him behind the couch this time!
It is difficult to get inside Scooter's cheeks b/c he has such chubby little cheeks and such small teeth.
Boomer loves teeth brushing time. We think it has something to do with his constant love of attention - you can do anything to Boomer!
Boomer has much larger teeth than his brother Scooter - they are very easy to brush.
